The Limassol Municipality will offer free parking until May 21 at the city’s historic centre to boost the local market, philenews reports.
In an announcement published on Friday, the Municipality said that parking will be free at the municipal car parks of Ipirou Street and A. Themistocleous Street as well as for the parking metre slots and machines in the streets.
The municipality calls on citizens to take advantage of the measure but urges the public to not occupy slots for the whole day to give everyone the opportunity to benefit.
It was finally noted that the implementation of the measure will be monitored by the Municipality’s traffic service and drivers are urged to comply with their instructions.
