Police booked 48 individuals all across Cyprus over the past 24 hours for violating preventive measures aiming to curb the spread of covid-19.
They had carried out a total of 2,381 checks.
There were 565 checks in Nicosia and seven citizens were reported, 333 checks in Limassol led to 15 citizens getting fined and 493 checks in Larnaca saw 10 individuals handed a fine.
In Paphos, 585 checks led to seven citizens being reported, five were reported in Famagusta after 297 checks and four in Morphou after 77 checks.
Port Police had carried out 31 checks with no fines handed out.
