Five positive coronavirus cases have been detected in Nicosia General Hospital – one being a doctor and the other four his patients.
OKYPY spokesman Charalambos Charilaou also said on Tuesday that the process of tracking close contacts has begun aiming to determine where the transmission chain began.
The new cases are in the Cardiology Department of the Hospital.
The doctor was vaccinated in January with both doses of the jab, according to Philenews.
