Five foreigners wanted by the Cypriot Authorities for various crimes, from murders to armed robberies, are included in Europe’s 92 most wanted by Europol. The list also includes two dangerous criminals from the “Pink Panther” organisation accused of robbing several jewellery shops.
The list that the European Police releases every year includes the names of notorious criminals wanted for their participation in organized crime.
As Police spokesman Christos Andreou explained to Phileleftheros, the slogan of this year’s campaign by Europol and the European Network of Fugitive Active Search Teams (ENFAST) is: “You could bring them down – #GameOver.”
The graphics for the campaign refer to a series of playing cards representing various types of criminals:
King: Head of criminal organizations
Queen: Drug dealers
Jack: Violent criminals
Joker: Organizer
The criminals wanted by the Cypriot Authorities are: Turk Mehmet Akbinar and Sali Ahmet from Bulgaria, who murdered British national George Law in Agia Napa, Goran Milasinovic from Montenegro and Goran Mladenovic from Serbia wanted for armed robberies and believed to be members of the Pink Panthers, and Albanian Aleks Burelli wanted for the murder of three people in an Agia Napa bar.
