Snow has been falling on Troodos since last night.
In view of the orange warning issued by the Meteorological Department, the Police are on the alert.
In a statement the Police spokesman said that an Action Plan has been prepared and if needed, the Police members will intervene immediately.
It is noted that Carmel cyclone is expected to affect southern coasts more.
