The Fire Service responded to 17 calls to put out fires from 6 am on Sunday to 6 am on Monday, the CNA reports.
In one incident in Anthoupolis, Nicosia, at 5:26 on Monday the Fire Service received a call to put out a fire in two vehicles parked on the side of the road.
The fire was put under control at 5:36 am with both cars reported extensively damaged.
Members of the police also sped to the scene. The causes of the fire will be investigated later on Monday.
