The Fire Service responded to ten fire incidents from 6 am on Friday to 6 am on Saturday.
According to an announcement, one of the calls concerned fire in two vehicles in the Kaimakli industrial area in Nicosia which were extensively damaged.
Members of the police and the Kaimakli station of the Fire Service responded and the fire was under control at 5:10 am. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
A separate incident, also a fire in two cars, unravelled around 4:30 am on Saturday on Thermaikou Street in Paphos, with the fire put under control at 6:12 am. Police are investigating the cause of the fire in collaboration with the Fire Service.
