A fire is raging near the small communities of Pachna and Kyvides, Limassol District, Philenews reported on Monday, shortly after 2:30pm.
Two fire brigade vehicles and four anti-fire aircraft are assisting efforts to put out the blaze.
The Forest Department and the British Bases are also rushing to the area to provide assistance, insiders said.
