A fire broke out at Wednesday at noon near the village of Akoursos in Paphos.
According to Andreas Kettis, spokesman of the Fire Service, the fire started from some dry weeds near some houses which have been protected.
Four manned Fire Engines from various stations of Paphos as well as a vehicle of the Forestry department are on the scene. Additionally there are two helicopters and two aircraft of the Forestry Department.
