The Fire Service and the Forestry Department are fighting against several fires in the district of Paphos, one of which, in Akoursou community is out of control
A fire broke out at noon in an inaccessible area of Psathi community of Paphos and according to the spokesman of the Fire Service seven fire engines and four aircraft of the Forestry Department are trying to put it out. However, strong winds in the area are making their work very difficult.
There are also fires in Kholetria and Koili districts.
