According to Andreas Kettis, spokesman of the Fire Service, a fire broke out a while ago in an inaccessible area of the Archmandrita community toward the community of Maronas in Paphos.
Strong winds blowing in the area are making the work of the Fire Service very difficult.
In total six fire engines are at the scene.
