A fire broke out in a residential area near Chloraka in the Paphos region at noon on Monday, 7 May 2018.
According to the Police and Cyprus’ Fire Service, Paphos’ fire department dealt with the fires promptly, since a fire truck rushed down the area immediately and therefore, prevented fire spread across neighbouring residential living areas.
The fire, however, burned dry grass and wild vegetation.
