Following the confession of the father who admitted that he had caused the death of his three-month-old baby, the case is almost fully investigated.
Having secured the 37-year-old man’s written confession, the Limassol CID continues its work so that the case will be completed as soon as possible.
According to O Phileleftheros information, very soon a reconstruction of the scene of the crime is expected to take place in the parents’ house in the presence of two coroners so that the findings of the post mortem and of the confession of the perpetrators will be re-enacted.
The child’s mother said she had no knowledge of what had happened.
Both parents remain in custody until next Friday by which time the investigators hope to have completed their work so that the case will be submitted in Court.
