Extremely hot on Tuesday with an orange alert for very high temperatures in effect till 5pm issued by the Meteorology Office.
Winds will be variable, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort over smooth to slight sea waters.
The maximum temperature will rise to 43 degrees Celsius inland, 39 C in most coastal regions and 34 in the mountains.
The fire hazard is on red alert, according to the Forestry Department.
