The Health Ministry’s weekly epidemiological data leading up to last Tuesday shows a slow but steady decline of Cyprus’ coronavirus positivity rate.
It also shows Limassol to be at a higher percentage than all other districts in Cyprus, based on the very high number of rapid tests conducted on a daily basis.
Limassol’s positivity rate is now about 0,5% but it does not record an increase, actually.
Cyprus’ positivity rate this week when it comes to new covid-19 cases is above average with 164/100,000 residents. It was 173/100,000 the week before.
In Famagusta, it was 45/100,000 this week compared to 104,3/100,000 the week before.
In Larnaca, it was 75/100,000 from 121/100,000 the week before.
In Limassol, it was 390,7/100,000 from 336,3/100,000 the week before.
In Nicosia, 83/100,000 from 106/100,000) and in Paphos it was 46/100,000 from 63/100,000 the week before.
