Areas in Strovolos and Lakatamia are experiencing power outages due to damage to electricity cables, the Electricity Authority confirmed.
The outage is affecting areas from Ayios Vasileios in Strovolos to Metro supermarket in Lakatamia.
According to the EAC website the outage was reported at 3:22 pm on Thursday.
It is expected to be resolved in around two hours.
