Paphos police are investigating the theft of €50,000 euro from a car belonging to a 29 year old woman on Sunday night.
The Cyprus News Agency said the woman had reported to police that she had parked her car with the money — which represented the takings of the day from the betting shop where she worked — for a short time.
On her return she found that the car had been broken into, and the money had been taken.
