Traffic police on Wednesday morning warned drivers of heavy fog on Nicosia-Limassol highway between Kornos and Kofinou area saying visibility is extremely limited.
Drivers are advised to drive at low speeds, maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead and keep the headlights on.
No extreme weather phenomena are reported on other main arteries of the road network but works are still underway in some areas and that’s why caution is again advised.
Police are calling for the road traffic code and traffic signals to be respected so as to avoid road collisions.
