A Single Women Liveability Index shows that Cyprus is quite a safe place with a marking of 68.94, according to Insider, Phileleftheros.
It cited a recent study by Compare the market Australia which also shows Cyprus having a happiness index as high as 6.22.
The study compiled a list of every country in the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). And they ranked each destination based on living costs, safety and women’s rights.
The best three countries for single women are Denmark, Iceland and Estonia and the worst ones are Mexico, Chile and South Korea.
As for the safest country in the world for women, this is Switzerland with an index of 78.14 out of 100.
Based on information from Swiss residents, the country’s safety index reflects the low rate of reported serious and violent crimes in the nation.
