Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades on Wednesday marked International Day of Democracy calling on Twitter the obligation to defend it.
The tweet said: “Democracy. The supreme political benefit that we are obligated and deserve to defend with all our might. #DemocracyDay”.
International Day of Democracy is celebrated on September 15.
