The President of the House of Representatives Dimitris Syllouris travels to Cairo on Friday to attend the 5th Assembly of the Heads of Parliaments of the member states of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean.
In the framework of his visit, Syllouris will meet with Dr. Abdel Aal, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Egypt.
A delegation of the Cyprus House is also travelling to Cairo to take part in the 14th Assembly of the Plenary of the Union for the Mediterranean.
The delegation comprises MPs Nicos Tornaritis (Head), Costas Costa and Yiorgos Prokopiou.
Both Assemblies will discuss issues related to terrorism as well as ways to enhance relations between the Parliaments of the UfM countries.
