Cypriot architect Constantinos Marcou has made Future Architect Platform’s annual list of 25 most progressive emerging talents in Europe.

The Platform is a network of prominent European cultural players whose mission is to connect multi-disciplinary emerging talents to high profile institutions like museums, galleries, publishing houses, biennials, and festivals, and to provide talented conceptual thinkers and practitioners in architecture with opportunities to be seen and heard.

Member institutions in the Platform include the Royal Academy of Arts, the Maxxii Museum, the Museum of Architecture and Design, the Trienal de Arquitectura de Lisboa, Dpr-Barcelona, and the Mies van der Rohe Foundation.

A list of 25 most promising talents is put together every year through an open call for ideas, and the successful ideas are showcased in a conference held in a European city.

Marcou’s work was selected among 433 submitted ideas from 53 countries.

He and the 24 other selected projects will be invited to attend this year’s Creative Exchange event to take place in February at the Museum of Architecture and Design (MAO) in Ljubljana, Slovenia, where he will showcase his work and deliver a presentation titled “Poetics for the Uncertain”.
