Customs officials on Wednesday raided four shops in the free Famagusta area, confiscating a total of 9,857 items of pirated clothing of a number of prominent brand including Adidas, Nike, Puma, Louis Vuitton, Tommy Hilfiger, Gucci, FILA and Billabong with an estimated value of €50,000.
All the items were left by the shop owners at the Customs Department and will be destroyed.
Customs’ investigation continues.
