Vets have placed themselves at the disposal of the state in efforts to tackle the coronavirus outbreak, president of the Pancyprian Veterinary Association Nektaria Ioannou told the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation on Tuesday.
She said that a questionnaire has gone out to all members to see how many ventilators are available. These are compatible with those used on people and can be made available to the Health Ministry if required.
British vets have taken similar steps, she added.
