Two flights, one from Larnaca and one from Paphos airport, will depart on Friday repatriating foreign nationals stranded in Cyprus following measures to contain the spread of Covid-19.
According to CNA, one Israir flight to Tel Aviv is scheduled to depart from Larnaca airport around 10:30 am with 29 passengers on board.
The second flight to Helsinki is on Finnair and will depart from Paphos airport around 13:15 carrying 110 passengers.
Five cargo flights are expected to arrive at Cyprus’ airports on Friday, which are the only flights allowed as per the two-week flight ban that went into effect on March 21.
Two repatriation flights were completed on Thursday that carried 318 passengers from Larnaca airport to Oslo and Frankfurt.
