Relevant News

Three repatriation flights are scheduled to depart from Larnaca Airport to take tourists and other foreign residents home, the Cyprus News Agency reports.

It said that a Ural Airlines flight is due to leave for Moscow at 14.10 with 235 passengers, an Aegean Airlines flight will depart for Athens at 17.25 and another will depart for Belgrade at 23.15.

The Cyprus News Agency said an Aegean flight is due to land at 16.40 bringing 60 passengers from Athens.

Two flights had departed Larnaca yesterday for Warsaw and Athens.

All passenger flights have been banned in Cyprus under decrees aiming to contain the spread of coronavirus.

However the Transport Minister has the right to allow flights to bring stranded Cypriots home (provided they fulfill the entry requirements as regards certification) and to take tourists homes.
