The Education Ministry said on Thursday that 10,000 Coronavirus tests have been conducted in schools across the island so far.
The ministry said in an announcement that sampling at schools by mobile units will continue until the allocated 20,000 tests are fulfilled.
The tests cover pupils, teachers and other staff at kindergartens, public primary and secondary schools as well as private schools.
