Health Minister Constantinos Ioannou has again assured the public that there are no plans to close supermarkets.
In a message of Twitter, the minister said: “Because a large number of people are gathering at and around supermarkets, I underline that there is no intention to close the supermarkets. Mass gatherings do not help containing the virus.”

Also on Twitter, the presidency of the Republic sent a simple message “together we will break the chain of transmission. We will succeed.” It attached the message sent by SMS today urging everyone to keep their movements to a minimum.
