The outpatient clinic of the Santa Marina private hospital in Paralimni reopens on Monday after medical staff working at the hospital tested negative for Covid-19, the Cyprus News Agency reports, citing an announcement from the clinic.
A doctor and nurses were tested as they had come into contact with a woman who had tested positive for coronavirus and was transferred to Famagusta Hospital. Their results came out negative. However, after consultations with the Health Ministry, they will remain in self-isolation until March 30.
The ward will remain closed until March 29. The outpatient clinics will reopen tomorrow, Monday.
In its announcement, the hospital asked patients who have travelled in the past 14 days to countries with active cases of coronavirus, or who have a nasal discharge, fever, cough, sore throat or difficulty breathing not to visit the clinic but to telephone 1420.
