Coronavirus patient discharged from Famagusta hospital; another critical

A coronavirus patient has fully recovered and was discharged today from the Famagusta General Hospital, the reference institution for the virus.

The man will remain in isolation for the next two weeks. A  video posted by Alpha TV shows the man leaving the hospital to the applause of medical professionals.

Twenty-two patients are now being treated at the hospital, 4 in the Increased Care Unit, including an 80 year old with underlying illnesses, whose condition is considered critical.

Two patients in critical condition are being treated at the Limassol General, including a 61 year old woman, who suffered complications and was transferred from the Famagusta Reference Hospital.

Two patients died yesterday at the Limassol General, including a 47 year old with no no history of serious illness.
