Nine Turkish-Cypriots that lived in Britain have died from Covid-19, as revealed by the president of the Turkish Cypriot Youth Association UK Nafiya Horozoğlu on social media.
According to Turkish-Cypriot newspaper Yeni Duzen, the latest victim is a 78 year old man who was living in London.
Separately, Yeni Duzen mentioned that during the period March 10 – March 25 a total of 45,982 people flew out of the illegal Tymbou airport in Nicosia and 12,658 flew in.
Since March 17 when the so-called council of ministers of the Turkish-held areas imposed a quarantine on anyone flying in, 798 people arrived in the occupied areas through Tymbou.
