The Minister of Transport Yiannis Karousos said on Wednesday via Twitter that the two-week flight ban to Cyprus’ airports announced yesterday will be expanded to include all countries, effective from March 21.
He also said that exceptions for people who had travelled abroad for a few days or for medical or professional reasons still apply, and those people can return to Cyprus subject to obtaining a certificate from diplomatic missions abroad.
The relevant decree will be made public later today.
The government had said on Tuesday that the ban would only apply to 28 countries.
#karousos pic.twitter.com/FNgqFewCW0
