A Nicosia branch of the Bank of Cyprus has reported confirmed cases of coronavirus.
The Bank of Cyprus said that it had activated all the relevant protocols and taken all the required measures, including suspending the operations of the specific branch and other affected branches so that they are disinfected.
Moreover, health authorities have started the procedure of tracing people who may have been exposed.They have been asked to self isolate and samples are being taken, it added.
Employees and clients who may have been exposed will be notified both by the bank and the authorities.
