The Athienou Municipality said on Thursday it will provide home assistance to the community’s elderly with the help of volunteers, like shopping for food and medicine.
In its announcement the Municipality calls on anyone who requires assistance to reach out by telephone on 24811370 or the free line 24524004.
It also called on the elderly to stay at home for their own safety and that of others, assuring them that they will receive any support they need while doing so.
Finally, volunteers interested in helping are urged to contact the Municipality.
