A total of 4,011 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Cyprus between November 25 and December 1 with the positivity rate standing at 5.5% – the same as the week before.
This is what Philenews reported on Friday, adding that 11 deaths from the infection were also recorded – nine in the past week and two in earlier days.
The age of the deceased ranged between 46 and 94 years, and six were women and five men.
This brings the total number of deaths from Covid-19 in Cyprus to 1,237.
Meanwhile, another 93 patients are in state health services organisation Okypy hospitals.
Ten of them are in serious condition while eight are intubated due to Covid-19 symptoms.
Out of the 72,668 tests conducted this week, 4,011 people tested positive.
This bring the number of positive cases up to 618,248 since the start of the pandemic.
