Convicts have boosted a fund raiser by PASYKAF (the pancyprian association of cancer patients and friends), once more demonstrating their sensitivity to the issue of cancer.
PASYKAF president Anna Achilleoudi on Tuesday met the director of prisons Anna Aristotelous where she was presented with a total of 1230 euro.
At their own initiative, convicts decided to offer wages from their work as well as money from their personal accounts to a fund raiser aiming to collect money for campaigns prevent cancer and support patients.
