Trade union Isotita (Equality) staged a protest outside Parliament on Thursday afternoon over wage stagnation for public sector contractual workers.
The protesters said that despite promises, there was no progress regarding their request to become permanent personnel, while their salaries have become stagnant.
They also demanded the return of the automated wage indexation on their salaries.
The number of contract workers in the wider public sector is around 9,000.
