Clothes stolen from Paphos ambulance

An ambulance driver who parked his ambulance outside a kiosk in Paphos for a few minutes went back to find that someone had stolen clothes as well as  €130 from the glove compartment.

But the incident was witnessed by passers-by and based on their description, arrested a 36 year old Paphos resident.

In another case in Paphos on Tuesday, a 52 year old working in his field in Mesogi said he saw someone approach his car and break the car window. He spotted another car in the area with a man in the driving seat and the two sped off.

But the farmer was able to take down the registration number and the 24 year old owner was arrested. The man is known to the police. A search warrant has been issued for the second man.

The mobile phone was missing from the car.
