Clear skies today, close to mid-25, rain tomorrow

A high pressure system is affecting Cyprus, an early spring promise of higher temperatures and warmer weather.

Tomorrow however will mark the end of this spell, according to the Met Office, seeing rain from noon onwards and a low pressure system descending on Monday, bringing showers, storms and snowfalls on Troodos.

Enjoy clear skies today, turning partly overcast in the afternoon.

Winds will initially be northwesterly to northeasterly, light, force three,  gradually turning light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly force three to four, in the afternoon.

Seas will initially be calm to slight, turning slight in the afternoon.

Temperatures will rise to 23 degrees Celsius inland, 21 in coastal regions and 14 over the mountains.

Clear skies this evening, but turning partly overcast, mainly over western and northern areas. Winds will be light northwesterly to northeasterly, force three, over calm to slight seas.

Temperatures will drop to 5 degrees Celsius inland, 8 in coastal regions and 2 on the mountains. Frost is expected to form in mountainous and semi-mountainous regions.

Tomorrow, initially clear skies will possible give way to isolated showers from noon onwards.

Monday, the first day of Spring, will see a turn in conditions, with local showers and isolated storms expected, mainly from noon onwards, with gradual easing in the evening.

Snowfalls are expected on Troodos.

The same pattern will continue on Tuesday, with temperatures remaining around the average for this time of year.
