A man who entered the premises of the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation yesterday, shouting abuse at journalists over ‘El Diablo’ (The Devil), the song selected to represented Cyprus at this years’ Eurovision contest, was charged with a number of offences.
According to the Cyprus News Agency, following testimony from the citizen, as well as state broadcaster journalists, police are investigating a case of public verbal abuse, threats, disturbing the peace and illegally entering property.
He was charged in writing for these offences.
As an amateur video reveals, the man shouted at employees, ‘godless non believers’ and then called them ‘idiots’ for believing in the existence of the covid-19 pandemic.
