Cheap housing for students becoming extinct

The new year for the six faculties of the Technological University in Limassol will begin with another 600 students. However, students are in a very difficult position due to the big problem existing regarding the availability of apartments but also the radical increase of rent.

Finding a cheap apartment in Limassol is very difficult and new students are asked to begin their studies with a huge budget ,at the same time when increased prices in fuel are making the option of transfer from other towns impossible.

According to a Phileleftheros report, there is no affordable apartments for all students and this is the biggest problem they face. The budget for a student from another town at the Technical Institute is estimated at around 12,000 euros at the time when fees at private universities are much less.
