The Labor Ministry announced changes to the employment of third-country nationals as of 1 August:
In order for a speedy, efficient response to employers submitting an application to employ a third-country national, the following will apply:
Applications that do not fulfil the demands provided by the current Strategy, meaning which are not duly completed and are not accompanied by all necessary documents/ certificates, will be described as rejected and will not be accepted. In such a case the employer will be immediately informed through email or if this is not feasible through regular mail, mentioning the exact reasons for the rejections.
Rejected applications must be submitted again, properly completed.
