As from Wednesday, only one person at a time will be able to book an appointment for a beneficiary on the government’s electronic vaccination portal.
And that is the beneficiary himself or herself or their representative, it was officially announced on Tuesday.
“To improve the quality of service provided to citizens through the Covid-19 vaccination portal, the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy announces that, from Wednesday, May 5, 2021, a new way of arranging appointments will be activated,” it said.
“In particular, only one person will now be able to arrange an appointment for each beneficiary: the beneficiary himself or herself or their representative,” it added.
The representative of a beneficiary can be any person to whom the beneficiary provide his/her data.
The representative can enter the details of the beneficiary for whom he intends to make an appointment at any time before or even on the day of the booking.
