Within its capacity to announce, for reasons of public safety, those public and private entities where new Covid-19 cases have been found, the Health Ministry said on Thursday that a health professional at the surgical ward of Larnaca hospital has tested positive to the virus.
The case was identified in the framework of Okypy’s programme of wider testing of hospital staff.
Okypy has taken all required measures at the premises as per the relevant decrees and protocols.
