Due to the fact that official carnival celebrations have been postponed, a private initiative took place in Limassol today. It is the second year that this event is being organized but according to the organizer, people this year had been reserved due to the war.
Even though initially there were some thoughts about postponing the parade, people kept asking for it since they are all tired after two years of Covid restrictions.
The carnival parade was accompanied by members of the Police.
