Despite the Minister of Education ordering an investigation into the recent case of bullying of a pupil in a Limassol high school abuse against the teenager continued on Thursday.
This is what Philenews reports, adding that his father said some students approached his 13-year-old son and asked him to withdraw the complaint filed before the police the day before. They also warned him that they would beat him up again if he does not do so.
The pupil was physically abused as peers watching the bullying incident kept laughing and filming the attack.
Education Minister Prodromos Prodromou said an investigation was ordered along with an intervention and prevention policy regarding school bullying. This includes organising awareness workshops for teachers.
It should be noted that a similar incident involving bullying of students was recorded in the same school in the past.
