A 20-year-old British man on Tuesday evening died in Paphos General Hospital hours only after he was found unconscious in the pool of the Kato Paphos hotel he was staying at.
The young man was holidaying in Cyprus with his parents and the ambulance took him to hospital promptly after lifeguards spotted him unconscious but he never regained consciousness, according to Philenews.
A post mortem examination will be carried out on Wednesday to determine the exact cause of his death. No foul play is suspected.
