An eight-year-old boy is intubated at Makarion Hospital in Nicosia after an attack on Monday by a number of dogs in Zakaki area, Limassol.
Police are investigating the circumstances behind the serious accident and have alerted Veterinary Services which they now have one stray dog in their possession.
And they are looking for two to three other dogs which are believed to have been kept in makeshift cages near the field where the boy was playing with his little brother.
The cages are now empty.
