A bomb explosion just before six in the morning on Friday caused extensive damages to an insurance office situated on Grivas Dighenis Avenue in central Nicosia.
Police who have cordoned off the area while carrying out investigations said there are surveillance cameras all around the building and these will be examined carefully.
A police spokesman also said that all possibilities are open.
