According to the Police, a bomb explosion occurred at 3.40 this morning at a known coffee shop at 28th October Street in Engomi. Members of the Police rushed to the scene and ascertained that the bomb was due to an explosive device that had been placed at the entrance to the coffee shop.
Due to the explosion the shop suffered extended damage. The scene was cordoned off by the Police and investigations have begun.
